Typically, Richard Branson’s Necker Island must be reserved in its entirety for one group. Later this month, however, the 74-acre private-island resort will host a seven-day Celebration Week package, in which all of the property’s 15 authentic Balinese-style rooms can be booked individually. Accommodations include the six one-bedroom Bali Houses, three of which offer sweeping cliffside views of the Caribbean Sea, and the nine rooms, each with an en suite bathroom, within the new Great House, which reopened last October after a two-year rebuild. A woven alang alang reed roof tops the Great House, where large doors retract to reveal expansive decks and nap-inspiring hammocks. Indoors, Miami-based designer June Scott included recycled steel accents and custom furniture made from black bamboo. Within the island’s best accommodation—the Great House’s 1,500-square-foot master suite—is a large canopy bed with custom embroidered linens that looks out to a deck with ocean views, lounge chairs made for two, and a hot tub. The Celebration Week rates for the eight Great House bedrooms, the Bali Houses, and the Great House master suite are all-inclusive for a seven-night stay starting March 22 and are $27,475, $29,750, and $45,000, respectively.
