The newest member of the Dorchester Collection, 45 Park Lane, opened September 1 in London right across from its sister property the Dorchester. Following the 2010 opening of Coworth Park, the new Mayfair location is the luxury brand’s ninth hotel and features 45 rooms and suites (starting around $643 per night) plus a penthouse, all with views of Hyde Park.
The Thierry Despont–designed property, which was formerly a Playboy Club, includes a media room available for private hire, a library, and Wolfgang Puck’s fourth chapter of his luxury steakhouse, Cut. Guests of the hotel will also receive complimentary access to the Dorchester’s 1930’s-themed Art Deco spa and priority reservations to its restaurants, including Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester and China Tang.
